The most compact ART of ADAM

Built on the heritage of ADAM Studio Monitors, which are employed in many of the most renowned recording and sound studios around the world, the new compact A5 brings the same breakthrough ADAM loudspeaker technologies to multimedia applications such as desktop recording, broadcasting, gaming, home theater and surround applications.

The A5 uses ADAMs proprietary tweeter transducer technology (ART) and a smaller version of the same Rohacell woofer found in the most popular ADAM Studio Monitors. The A5 provides out-standing sound quality unprecedented in a speaker of such small size. The optional piano finish (black and white), and Stereolink technology make the A5 an incredibly versatile loudspeaker with an almost unlimited range of multimedia applications.

Amplifiers and controls

Two built-in 25 Watt amplifiers power the drivers directly. The front of the A5 sports dual ports for surprising low frequency response down to 55Hz, metal grills for durability, as well as power and gain controls. The rear panel includes balanced (XLR) jacks, unbalanced (RCA) jacks, and a host of EQ controls to tailor the sound to suit room acoustics or personal taste.

Stereolink

The A5 employs a new development by ADAM called Stereolink. This new technology connects two A5 speakers in such a manner as to allow the user the option to control the overall stereo volume of the system from either speakers gain control. This makes the A5 a natural for "mixer-less" desktop applications where overall system volume needs to be adjusted often and from a single control.
